About Us

Andrew Brown is a full time trainer and has been employed with Chemtools since 2007. Andrew has been working as a Soldering Instructor/Trainer in the electronics industry for 30 years.

Andrew has successfully trained students in many countries including Australia, Germany, Singapore, New Zealand, UK, and the USA.
We travel across Australia and overseas so training courses can be conducted at your facility or at Chemtools head office in St Marys in Western Sydney.

In addition IPC certification we also offer half/full day soldering courses for:

  • Production assembly line – Improve your workers basic skill set to improve their speed and quality of hand solder joints.
  • Rework and Repair – Improve technicians skills in reworking and repairing PCB’s, whether it be basic soldering equipment knowledge of proper use of equipment right up to track level repair.
  • Lead Free Training Courses – Is your facility moving towards lead free, workers will need training to bring them up to speed on the differences between leaded and lead free alloys and how each solders differently.
  • ESD Training – Your workplace not taking Electro static discharge seriously. We provide the necessary training to bring you work place to a ESD free area.
  • Hot air and Infrared Rework – Working more and more surface mount components and BGAs? Custom training courses to suit your needs for successful removal and reflow of surface mount components.

All students that attend and complete courses are supplied with certification whether it be IPC certification if you are attending an IPC course or soldering certification supplied by Chemtools.
